Laser Hair Removal

Thanks to the GentleMax Pro Laser’s advanced technology, hair removal is now available to everyone.  It is the most revolutionary hair removal system available today.Below are some frequently asked questions.

How do I get started?

At ANEW, we offer you a free consultation where we go over all the details about your laser hair removal. We discuss treatment frequency, number, and the cost, and will develop an individualized treatment plan for you.

How does laser hair removal feel?

Most clients feel very little discomfort due to of the GentleMax Pro Laser’s cooling device. Some individuals may sense a short feeling of burning, as if a rubberband was snapped on the skin. This sensation will only last for a short time if at all. After treatment, the area may feel a little warm as if it is slightly sunburned. This may last for a few hours to, at very most, a few days. The degree of discomfort varies on the individual and the area treated. Women may be a bit more sensitive at certain phases during menstruation, too .

How many treatments do I need for my laser hair removal?

Because hair grows in cycles and laser hair removal is effective on hair follicles in the early stages of growth, you will need multiple treatments. Usually, 6-8 treatment sessions are needed and, depending on your treatment areas, are done 4-6 weeks apart.

How do I prepare for laser hair removal?

Avoid tweezing, waxing, electrolysis, threading, bleaching, and do not use hair removal creams for 6 weeks before your initial treatment session. Shave the areas you want treated either the day before or the day of your appointment. Between treatments, the only method of hair removal that should be used is shaving.
