CAROL VAN ZELST, Ph.D
OWNER I MASTERS OF SCIENCE I PHD IN NATURAL HEALTH I CERTIFIED LASER TECHNICIAN I MASTER INJECTOR
Carol has been the owner and primary treatment provider at ANEW Skin and Wellness since its inception in 2004. With more than 20 years of experience in the field of plastic surgery, she recognized the benefits and potential for non-invasive, laser-based treatments versus surgery in the field of medical aesthetics. She has since become a master injector, and has been using Botox® fillers for more than 15 years.
Carol holds a PhD in Natural Health, has been trained and certified in face and body technology, and retains memberships in the American Academy of Anti-aging Medicine, the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine, and the American Thyroid Association. Carol takes a consultative approach when working with clients by first listening to their needs, and then developing customized treatment plans to deliver optimal results and satisfaction. All solutions, from laser technologies to injectable products, are hand-picked to ensure the highest levels of efficiency, effectiveness and comfort for our clients. At ANEW, our goal is to make clients look their best in the most natural and comfortable way possible.
DR. KATHLEEN BAUGRUD, M.D.
MEDICAL DIRECTOR
Dr. Baugrud became the medical director at Anew Skin and Wellness, LLC. In Fall
of 2011. In addition to overseeing and directing Anew in any medical treatments
that require advice of a medical doctor, she has also taken the initiative to
become certified in every treatment offered here at Anew.
Dr. Baugrud earned her degree in Medicine and completed her residency with the
Medical College of Wisconsin in 1985. She then joined the medical staff of
Columbia Hospital in 1991 and is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. Dr.
Baugrud currently practices with Madison Medical in Milwaukee.
KRISTIN WAGNER
MASTER INJECTOR, BSN, RN, CLT
Kristin has been working for ANEW Skin and Wellness since 2010. Having graduated with her bachelor’s degree in nursing in 2014, Kristin is now serving the clients of ANEW in a clinical capacity, providing the full range of non-invasive and injectable procedures that ANEW has to offer. She studied at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee to receive a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, and completed her nursing degree at Herzing University, graduating at the top of her class with magna cum laude honors.

Kristin has had a long-time passion for health and wellness, which she applies through the treatment of her clients at ANEW. Kristin has had the privilege to work with and know many of ANEW’s current clients, and she welcomes the opportunity to serve those who are new to our office. Her professional, personal and caring demeanor will make any client feel welcome and comfortable.
NICOLE LESZCZYNSKI
MEDICAL ESTHETICIAN, LE, CLT
Nicole's nurturing approach to skincare and skill proficiency fuse together in a relaxing setting that ensures each client receives a luxury experience along with clinical results. Her ability to customize service treatments tailored to each clients specific skincare needs allows for restoration of optimum skin health.
She graduated from the Institute of Beauty and Wellness at the top of her class, has advanced esthetic training, is hydrotherapy and oncology trained and is a guest trainer for Hydrafacial. Being able to help others improve their skin, and in turn their confidence, is what drives Nicole in her career as she believes everyone should be able to look and feel their best.
